Social activity

Boris Ivchenko has initiated and managed a lot of international and russian conferences and symposiums, including events held under the aegis of UN and UNESCO. In the framework of such activity he was the one of the key-speakers at UNESCO conference (Paris, 2000), UN conference (New York, 2001).

Since 2000 - he is a Member of an editorial board of scientific magazines “Science.Education.Culture” and “Region.Economics.Policy.Ecology”.

Since 1998 – member of an expert board of the Science, culture, education, healthcare ecology of the federal Committee, member of the highest ecological board of the Russian State Duma, member of the Russian State Duma Commission on sustainable development problems of Russia.

Since 2006 – chairman of the international expert Council of international committee “Intersafety” (headquarters in Montreal, Canada).
